Dr. Courtney Lam was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received her undergraduate BA degree from Duke University, graduating with honors distinction in Sociology. She received her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2015, graduating in the top 10 of her class and with honors in Radiological Science.
She was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Lam continued her dental education after graduation by attending residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. There she received her certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and hands on experience with full mouth reconstruction, surgical implant placement, CAD/CAM restorations, and complex and cosmetic restorative dentistry.
For the last four years, Dr. Lam has been practicing in Center City Philadelphia. She continues to devote time and resources to continuing education in order to ensure she is providing the best and most up-to-date treatment for her patients. In the last four years she has completed over 950 hours of continuing education, which is 15x greater than what is required by the state.
Dr. Lam uses the latest dental materials and technologies and focuses on preventive dental care. In her free time, Dr. Lam loves spending time with her friends, family, and dog. After dentistry, her second love is technology and she is an avid sports fan.
